“Striving to turn advanced driving from an art into a science”

I am a former Police officer, joining in 1996 as Special Constable, before serving a full-time in 999 response and road policing across South Worcestershire.

Since leaving the Police in 2010, I’ve worked nationally assessing NVQ candidates in the workplace as a trainer/assessor within the Security Industry, and became involved in Civilian Advanced Driver training at the same time.

SC/CTC cleared since 1996 and like all ADI’s I hold an Enhanced CRB/DBS Certificate.

I have worked as a freelance blue light trainer, a RoSPA Senor Tutor with the West Midlands Group and the Worcestershire IAM Group, as well as helping to run the Worcestershire Advanced Motorists 18-25 Scheme, and am also a trainer with the Admiral Young Driver Under 17  scheme.

As of November 2016, every candidate put forward for a Learner test has passed, every RoSPA candidate put forward has been awarded Gold, and every IAM Candidate has received F1RST or Masters (Distinction)

In addition to Blue Light training, I hold every recognised civilian advanced driving qualification, from the 3 organisations running the tests, (RoSPA, IAM and DIA) as well as the related trainer qualifications, and also the  ‘Train the Trainer’ qualifications for two out of the three (RoSPA and IAM).

I train drivers at all levels, in Worcester, Evesham, Redditch and the surrounding area.
